STOP WASTING KOGI RESOURCES ON A DEAD ISSUE-ACN TELLS IDRIS

The Kogi chapter of the Action Congress of Nigeria has called on the outgoing governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ibrahim Idris to stop further wastage of the State megre resources on a conclude tenure issue. According to the media assistant to the party Chairman citizen Akwu Umar Goodman who spoke to newsmen in Lokoja says INEC pronouncement on the governors tenure is based on the 1999 constitution as amended, what the electoral body did was an excise of its responsibilities by publishing the elections time table accordingly

Mr Goodman opined that the bane of our underdevelopment is as a result of the greedy people that found their way to positions of authority of this late.

Ibrahim Idris is going to court to seek tenure elongation what then happens to the period he stayed in the office and collected all the monies due for the governor and signed bills and budget into law before the annulment?

The ACN observed that several billions of State money was used in defending Idris at the tribunal and appeal court respectively as well as his so called re-election yet he has the temerity to to go to court,is it because the people are quiet over his illegality and wastage of our resources? Idris should have consulted wide before heading for court because his mission is like a mosquito at the back of a tortoise as there is no blood for it to suck. Our advice to governor Idris is to abandon the case which is a lost one and to concentrate in office and see how he can maximally utilize the remaining six months he has to spend in the office to make right his wrongs in office.

There is a major strike in the State, the first to go on strike was the assembly staffers, instead of the man to sit down and tackle these problems he is busy wasting our resources to sue INEC to extend his tenure beyond the constitutional limits.if you don’t know, the era of Iwu’s “mago mago” was over along time ago and it is a dawn of a new era under Jega. No amount of bribe can change your tenure of office, Kogi people are tired of your vision less government including the members of your own party (PDP),confirmation of it is the large number of aspirants on PDP, about 36 of them gunning for the seat.

Come May 29th 2011 we must have a change of leadership in the State and definitely the Action Congress of Nigeria will be the party to take over. Mr Goodman urge the people of Kogi State to come out en mass and obtain voters card during the registration exercise to vote ACN for harvest of development as being enjoyed by the ACN controlled States, Lagos and Edo for example.

    Fellow Nigerians
We have finally seen the faces of the last Monday visitors to Asorock on special solidarity mission.the group led by Solomon Lar identified themselves as northern political summit [G20]. those who watched them on NTA could see how the hired crowed were struggling to have a presidential hand sake, their actions depicts a reminiscence of what hausa called “MUKESO”
    .
The so called G20 are no doubt northern extractions but the question is,did they have our mandate? the Lar/Ida led group are PDP members but there was a strange fellow [exhibit] among them that is prince Abubakar Audu, why was he there? i beg to withdraw my question as i quickly remember that Audu has been an ANPP/PDP man.the G20 claimed to be on a special solidarity visit, yes Lar/Gana were only doing what they know how to do best [agip] any government in power.
my special appeal to Lar/Gana on behalf of the northern youths league is to stop using the logo as a meal cupone and equally stop futher polarisation of north to enable the founding fathers Sir Amadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa sleep well in their grave.

It is often said that when u save a bird it will fly away but when you save a person he/she will turn back and kill you that is exactly the position of Lar and Gana, these people have enjoyed positions, name it on the ticket of north but today are denying north of her dues’ [what a betrayal] this is akin to biblical story of exchange of a right with porage of yam.

The smoke screen visit which was dubbed special solidarity in respect of bomb blast took place in Asorock whereas the victims are critically laying on their sick beds in the hospitals, the G20 never deem it fit to see their health situation nor pay condolence visits to the families of those that died in the attack and yet they are crying more than the berieved.

It is on record that the Lar/Gana group are the second sponsored visitors of Mr President, the first been the militants/rebels from native south south.
Are they really northern political summit or submit? only time can define the interest/motives behind the movement
    .
But the question is what epitaph does the duo of Lar and Gana want to be written on their graves?
    I am yours son
